Texture tiles

You can find the textured tiles effect in the Toolbox below the tab objects in the section live effects.

This effect can be used to create textures from individual graphics, which you can use as background.

Use texture tiles if you need a background of any size, which can be repeated. This is useful when you need a pattern or a texture, such as a beach or a large wall.
The background can be used well in combination with a long motion path which goes over the background.

1 Insert "Texture tiles"

Settings for Texture tiles

In the properties field how the effect behaves.

Select a graphic to be used for the effect.

Tiles - Enter here how often the graphic should be repeated.

Horizontal shift - Shift of the graphic to the right.

Vertical shift - Shift of the graphic downwards.

Mode

Count columns - As many full columns of tiles are displayed as Tiles specifies.

Count rows - As many rows of tiles are displayed asTiles specifies.

Show only one column - Only one column is displayed. The width of the column depends on the number of Tiles. "2" means, for example, that two tiles fit next to each other on the screen, but since only one is to be displayed, it is half the size of the screen.

Show only one row - Like "Show only one column" only for rows.

Repetition

Repeat texture - Each tile looks the same.

Mirror texture - Odd tiles are displayed mirrored, so there are no hard transitions between tiles.

Color

Change the hue, saturation and brightness of the selected texture.
