Program settings

The program settings refer to the basic settings of the program, not of your slide shows. For your creations the Slide show settings are decisive.

You can open the program settings under "Extras" / "Program settings".

Plug-Ins:

Here additionally installed plug-ins are shown.

Sound System:

The sound system plays the music used in a slide show. Should you experience irregularities during music playback, set the sound system to "Windows Multimedia" and then restart the AquaSoft ® SlideShow XP five & Studio.

Temporal Folder:

Sometimes and for short periods, AquaSoft ® SlideShow XP five & Studio needs space on the hard drive. Here you set in which directory temporary files are allowed to be saved. When creating a video a lot of space becomes necessary. Should the standard temp-directory be too small, you can set a different one here.

Add Files:

Here you can set how certain files are supposed to be added to a slide show.

User Interface:

Here you find more settings for the user interface of AquaSoft ® SlideShow XP five & Studio.

Confirmations:

Choose the dialogs that are to be shown, here.

Movement Paths:

Movement paths you saved in the course of your work are shown here and can be deleted.

CD/DVD Burner:

All recognized CD/DVD-burners are shown here. With you can open the burner settings. If your burner is not recognized, you can remove the check at "Use internal ASPI-Layer".

Auto Save:

Set here if, and how many, security copies are to be made of your slide show during your work. In "File" / "Restore" you can open your work at a previous stage.

Text Effects:

Adjust the duration of a text-object here, if the chosen text animation is longer than the object itself.

Record Sound:

Through the sound wizard you can record spoken comments to your images using a microphone. Choose the settings for recording here.

Auto Update:

Here you can set how often the program is supposed to check for updates. Is an update available, you will be notified. For the update check a connection to the internet is required.

Storyboard:

Adjust settings for the storyboard here.

Image List:

Choose here what information is to be shown in the image list.

Layout Designer:

You can make settings for the layout designer here.

Timeline:

Define settings for the timeline here.
